Our Approach
Great wildlife photography begins long before pressing the shutter.
Every image starts with time spent outdoors—learning the rhythms of Florida's landscapes, observing wildlife with patience, and allowing moments to unfold naturally. Rather than chasing photographs, I believe the best compositions come from respecting the environment and letting nature reveal itself on its own terms.
That same philosophy continues beyond the field. Each photograph is carefully selected, refined, and prepared as a museum-quality print intended to be enjoyed for years to come. For many images, the creative journey extends even further, becoming the foundation for an original oil painting that explores the same subject through a different artistic lens.
Salty Chuck is built on the belief that meaningful work cannot be rushed. Whether I'm carrying a camera into the Everglades before sunrise or standing in front of an easel months later, the goal remains the same: to create honest, enduring imagery that reflects both the beauty of Florida's wildlife and the quiet experience of being there.
Every composition is an invitation to slow down, look closer, and appreciate the remarkable places and wildlife that surround us.
